We will be setting up for the Quilt Show at the Douglas County Fairgrounds from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

   April 18, 19, 20 - QUILT SHOW - "STARS OF THE UMPQUA VALLEY". See details under "QUILT SHOW".

MAY, 2008

   Thursday, May 1, 2008 meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. at the County Lady Quilt Shop 611 SE Jackson Street Roseburg, OR
The program for this meeting will be on "Fabric Dying". Come and join in the fun and learn how to dye your own fabric to just the color that you want it to be.

   Tuesday, May 6 meeting begins at 10:00 a.m. at the Umpqua Valley Arts Center The program for this meeting will be Charlie Weckerle, from the Country Lady Quilt Shop. Charlie will show us how to draft a Mariner's Compass.
You will need to bring: sharp pencil, compass, ruler, piece of paer that is at least 8 1/2 x 11.

JUNE, 2008

   Saturday, June 7, 2008 meeting begins at 10:00 a.m. at the Umpqua Valley Arts Center.
This will be our ANNUAL MEETING and potluck. The order of business will be election of new officers, naming of the 2009 Quilt Show (this is also the 150th birthday year for the state of Oregon) , and all other unfinished business. Bring your own table service, beverage, and a dish to share.
