Fill a sink with lukewarm water. Add mild laundry soap such as Woo lite or Ivory Snow to the water. Refer to detergent label for the exact amount of soap to use. Add 1 oz. acid bleach in the water if the cheap linen napkins are white. Place linen napkins and tablecloths in sink. If you wash more than a piece of linen, wash colored garments together and white garments separately. Shake bedding in the water with your hands. Do this for several minutes to clean the fabric. Do not rub fabrics together to clean them. Empty the water from the sink. Place the linen aside (in a plastic rubbish bag or in an adjacent sink) while rinsing all soap residue from the sink.
Fill the sink with plain water. Place cheap linen napkins in the water. Shake objects again to remove all soaps. If the rinsing water becomes soap, drain the water, remove bedclothes and fill the sink with plain water. It is important to remove all traces of soap from bedding. Hang or lay linen flat to dry. They can also be placed in a low heat dryer to dry. Do not twist the sheet before drying. Wash the clothes in the washing machine if you do not want to leave wash them. Use mild bicycle and mild soap. Wash colored linen and white linen separately.
